My good sir/madam, this is not a dandelion. This is a dandelion seed head. You see, dandelions are yellow, while their seed heads are white.

I have tons of clovers in my backyard and I also see dandelions a lot in both yards, so this is basically a close-up of my backyard xD

I have one that looks similar to this one. It eats clovers in my backyard, and has a white spot on its head. We have at least 2-3, though.

These plants are unknown species all over Costa Rica. They have pink, petal-like "bracts" (modified leaves) and tiny star-shaped flowers. Most likely Bougainvillea spectabilis
