There are some you can rule out because not all make mud nests

Looks like a swallow nest... You can also see the bird poop under it

Yes I know that Exidia glandulosa and Exidia nigricans are possibilities but I'm afraid I don't know much beyond that.

Hi Kelly, is this spotting for the yellow fungi or the bracket fungi? Just for future reference, if you want fungi ID, always get photos of the top and bottom, and stem if present.

Zlatan, these looks more like dried up jelly fungi or something else. I think Daldinia is usually more spherical right?

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! And that is interesting Neil. I have seen many anemones but I am fairly certain I have not had the good fortune to see the eggs. Hoping to see them now that you've pointed it out though!
