It is a lappet moth, not Platyja. Even though the genus Suana looks quite similar, the white tuft of scales closer to the thorax are more consistent with the genus Kunugia, especially since the one you found was a male specimen.

This is definitely a polyphemus moth female,(Antheraea polyphemus).
This is the Arge Tiger moth, (Apantesis arge).

Thank you both, for the comments. It took so long finding one, but that trip we found 3 of them, one in Arkansas, and two in Missouri.

It is actually not Peucetia viridans, since it is only found the America's. It is actually Peucetia viridana, which is found in India.
