Where I'm from we call these cow killers cause the sting hurts so bad they use to say it could kill a cow
It looks to be an American Goldfinch

it was right next to the shore in Linwood park
these actually aren't eggs but seed from bird poop thats why there is the black stuff its other fecal matter
its also called the spice bush swallowtail
