It is a House Finch, they can vary in color from orange to yellow as well as red!
I added another shot of him, I was shooting at 8.2 frames / sec so have many that I didn't use! :)

These are wonderfully sharp and clean pictures! Your work is great!
Serendipity! I was shooting and he left his perch! The sky was blah! So I used color range to isolate him, then did noise filter and cooling photo-filter on the background before sharpening using CS4.
This is a very small crop, I am lucky to have 18 megapixels. He was in the top of a tree 79.9 meters away. (focus distance in exif of picture)
