It was indeed an amazing experience. However, it was not the first time we were lucky ;-) In 2010, we were lucky to see two jaguar cubs in the jungle in Peru. these pictures will be added to projectnoah later... I'm working backwards through my pictures ;-)
We just saw this while walking... It did not look like someone had been painting this...
Indeed, they didn't look very happy. We were just sitting in the garden of the hotel when they appeared. They climbed even over the roof of the hotel ;-)
As far as I remember 15 - 20 cm.
I found it running on the ground clost to the hotel room. Size was maximum 50cm.
Nono, the restaurant itself was safe ;-)
