oh yeah Ur very right it might be a type of aquatic plant not a seaweed. but I still don't know what plant is this. I remember when this thing was removed from water for a couple of minute, the green thing suddenly goes dry and the color changes into brown.

Hi jellis! Yes it grows in water,I found this along the shoreline and I think this belongs to a green seaweeds family. just not just sure what type. :)

Hi karen! Thanks for commenting.. Yes I noticed that it discharges a foul smell the moment It was disturbed . its my first time to see it and I got curious what this insect was, the color is really amazing. :)
