Unfortunately, I lost the non-cropped picture which allowed to see how the white-colored mushroom stands out in the dark-colored jungle where little light reach the ground.
The sun was up, the light was good and the swans were beautiful as always

To me it looks more like a gull but it's impossible to say.
It's a bipalium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipalium) but the picture is not clear enough to know which one.
Was it as big as the yellow-legged gulls or smaller? The slender-billed gull doesn't seem to fit the profile. I would have said Larus canus or Larus fuscus. I'm a bit curious about its black eye, I never noticed black eyes on gulls before...
