Maybe a wheel bug nymph.
Either an eight spotted, or six spotted forester moth.
I came across a bunch of these guys on a cranberry bog in cape cod a few years ago, but didn't have a camera on me at the time. This is actually the first picture I've gotten of a ring-neck.
Looks like a cicada cocoon.
Hm. I had that happen last year on the golf course, too.
Sitting in my backyard. He didn't look hurt at all, but he didn't fly away.

Nepidae. Some kind of water scorpion.
