Medium size Moth, small tail, very shiny lace design, 4 golden/brown spots on the top and a few light golden/brown spots, orange and yellow legs, 2 spots in the underwings.

Geometridae, Ennominae, Sericoptera sp.. It is either Sericoptera mahometaria or Sericoptera chiffa, both reported from Costa Rica. Until now nobody could tell me how to separate them, so I would go with Sericoptera sp., although S. mahometaria is more common than S. chiffa.
