Description:

Leaves purplish-green; simple, with 3-5 narrow lobes deeply toothed at the tips. Flowers pink; approximately 1 inch diameter; five petals, ten stamens, one pistil.

Habitat:

Growing in leaf litter on ridge in predominantly hardwood forest.
