Description:

A stunningly beautiful, formally dressed duck.

Habitat:

Breed on inland lakes and generally winter on the coast with a few exceptions.

Notes:

Photo # 2 shows the male and female of the species together. Like many duck species, they are dimorphic = the male and female have different plumages from each other.
