House Centipede

Scutigera coleoptrata

Description:

Yellowish to grey color. They have 15 legs with stripe pattern down them.

Habitat:

They originally were native to the Mediterranean region but have spread to many other regions and across the United States of America.

Notes:

It is said that these centipedes can live their whole life in only one house. They are not harmful to people although they can produce a painful sting.
