Anna's hummingbird female

Calypte anna

Description:

We had the opportunity to spot twice a female hummingbird which was protecting her territory within the same bushy area. It was singing and fluttering back and forth always around the same place. I assume it is a female because only the throat was purple.

Habitat:

Alamo Sq Park.
