A very large, poisonous centipede, approximately 10-12 inches. Maroon/pink body with hot pink legs turning to orange and then black at the tips. Yellowish-orange antennae.
Seen on a ridge trail that runs off of the main road from Sungai Penuh to Tapan in the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

You're welcome! Gorgeous creature. A man I know was envenomated by one of the Arizona species. It was very painful, his hand swelled up, and got very cold and clammy. The pain went away in a few days, but he doesn't want to repeat the experience.

Probably Scolapendra subspinipes. Not sure which subspecies though. That species has several color morphs. S. subspinipes dehaani, the "cherry red" Scolapendra is kind of similar, but I haven't seen any with pink legs.
