Phidippus audax
The immature phidippus audax lacks the distinctive iridescent green chelicerae & bristles on the ceptalothorax that are typical of the adult of the species. It also has an orange dot on its dorsal abdomen instead of the white one displayed on the adults, & is smaller. This one barely measured 4 mm in length (see last photo) compared an adult which can measure up to 15 mm.
Our bathroom!
These tiny spiders have the extraordinary ability to jump more than 50 times their height.

Thanks Atul! I wasn't able to get the head on shot I wanted because he wouldn't keep still. I've released him back into our bathroom so maybe I will try again later for that angle!
