Sharpshooter nymph

Cuerna costalis

Habitat:

field

Notes:

As I was walking in a field trying to photograph insects, I noticed something jumping away from me out of the corner of my eye. I took a quick pic of it thinking it was a small grasshopper nymph (there are many grasshoppers here). But when I got the pic home I noticed it was wearing striped pajamas, and it turned out to be this little guy. A new spotting for me.
