Scorpion Tailed Spider

Description:

15mm. The female spider curls her tail up over her back like a scorpion if she is disturbed. Male only 2mm.

Habitat:

Widespread throughout Australia and are often found in large numbers near water.

Notes:

Found at Wirrerremy Park, Mona Vale, NSW.
