Range eastern two-thirds of US and eastern half of Canada
Saw while at the Huntsville state park.

Ah alright, I wasn't sure if there was a stage after the aquatic wingless stage and the fully adult stage. Thanks for the help, I'm going to update it now. Still gotta lot more to update from today haha

Yes it's a damselfly, both damselfly and dragonfly juveniles are wingless aquatic nymphs that do not much look like the adults. So when you see them with wings like this, they are fully grown adults. And I'm pretty sure this is (Calopteryx maculata) the Ebony Jewelwing.
