Saw this blue butterfly on my cycas plant this morning. Prefers well wooded hilly habitats, but seen on plains too.

Habitat:

Near flowering gardens.

Thanks CherreyMaePanchoBartolata, it does look very similar to the Eastern Tailed Blue, but that is present in North America as per wikipedia. Need to find similar Asian species.

looks like an Eastern Tailed Blue, but since you found this in India, I'm doubtful.
