Pink, showy Lady's Slippers in a neighbor's garden. The neighbor growing them owns a plant nursery in Fergus Falls, MN.
Normally grows in calcareous wet lands, open wooded swamps, with tamarack and black spruce (per WikipediA)
Minnesota's State Flower. Protected by state law in 1925 making it illegal to pick or uproot them
