These shield bugs (about 1.5cm body length), were fighting over the fruit by trying to push each other off it; picture #4 are the nymphs I think, not sure about this, however.
Andean forest at about 1800m above sea level.
Saw these guys on a night walk in the Rumi Wilco nature reserve just outside of Vilcabamba.
