Description:

Winter adult and juvenile variably marked with black, brown and white on upperparts; shows clear demarcation between dark breast and white underparts. In breeding plumage, has orange-brown feathers on back and black and white on head. Legs reddish orange. Bill stubby and triangular.

Habitat:

Winter visitor to coasts, locally permanent.

Notes:

Adult male in summer/breeding plumage.

Thanks. :) They don't have them where you are? They are relatively common where I live, surprisingly large birds as well.
