Oecanthus varicornis seems to be mainly found in Texas. The coloration and body shape seems to more closely match Oecanthus fultoni.

ornithoptera80 - Shouldn't your scientific name be 'Oecanthus varicornis'
Oecanthinae is a subfamily name not genus.
