A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Sturnia malabarica
Head, back, wings are greyish. Front is chestnut colored. The beak is beautiful; yellow at the tip and blue at the base.
It is a resident or partially migratory species found in wooded habitats in India and Southeast Asia but during winter I often see pairs on my rooftop terrace where many species come to share biscuit crumbs and drink/bathe. This year I did not see any of them...till today when they came to say Hello and Goodbye.
