Actually, it seems the Neotropic Cormorants are expanding their range. It's not too unusual to see them as far north as Dallas now.

Seems to be a Neotropic one. You 're right Liam. I did not considered that one as the range stops right on south Texas. You spotted that guy just on the limit of the usual range Susan.

Great Cormorant in that area would be far-fetched. I'd say juvenile Neotropic over Double-crested based on the small bill.

I would have suggested a Double-crested Cormorant, as per the yellow bill and the range. What do you think?
