Tufted Titmouse

Baeolophus bicolor

Description:

The Tufted Titmouse's gray-crested head and large black eyes on a pale face give this familiar bird a friendly look. Larger than the chickadees with which it often associates, the Tufted Titmouse shows obvious rusty peach patches on its flanks (sides).

Habitat:

Oak forest near my parent's home.

Notes:

A regular at the bird feeder. Very fast.

Hopefully I'll get more shots soon. Must have deleted at least 1/2 dozen shots that blurred.
