The Black-bellied Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna autumnalis), formerly also called Black-bellied Tree Duck, is a whistling duck that breeds from the southernmost United States and tropical Central to south-central South America.

It reminds me of Easter morning a year ago when 6 Whistling ducks landed on the Electric wire at the back of the garden. By the time I got my camera there was nothing but a bouncing wire. They make a distinctive sound when flying!
