Thanks for the input Tom. The Hymenostilbe in your previous spotting was Hymenostilbe sphingum, and only infects sphinx moths, which that moths appearance looked more like a sphinx moth (possibly Amorpha Junglandis).
While this one infects other moths, mainly in the family noctuidae, like this moth. This fungi is more common in the US, because noctuid moths are very common.

Thanks Saturnidae. I previously posted an infected moth. It was ID'd by Ornithoptera as Hymenostilbe. Wondering what suggested the differing ID's.
