Cane Toad

Rhinella marina

Description:

Rhinella marina - the Cane Toad. These toads seem to be attracted to flowerpots in our garden and backyard They sometimes kill the plants by damaging the roots when they excavate a burrow. We have tried carrying them some distance away and releasing them in another part of the farm, but they are often back in the same flowerpot the next morning.

Habitat:

This toad was spotted in a flowerpot in our backyard. .
