Fluorescent Pseudomonads

Pseudomonas spp.


Pseudomonads are common soil bacteria and some species produce fluorescent pigments. I was able to indentify some of the colonies as P. putida, but others remained unidentified.


Isolated from a water sample taken from a trench.
