Lophopid planthopper nymph

Habitat:

This spotting on a Crinum sp. lily in a large semi-urban yard & garden adjacent to a disturbed remnant patch of forest, in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.

Notes:

The long appendages may, at first glance be mistaken for, but they are NOT antennae.
