Description:

These pictures, along with my next handful of spottings, were cropped from picture 3 and a couple of other similar pictures and give some idea of how many different species can be seen in one place at one time.

Habitat:

Coastal marshes. The lagoons are rapidly drying out in the heat and due to a lack of rain for a couple of years. This is the only corner of the marsh which still has water, the rest has become a parched desert landscape and is almost lifeless.
