Black bird, w/ white wing patches, a white belly, and blueish greenish back and wings.
An early morning Eureka, Montana, next to much population.
When cars got near it, it didn't fly away, until the cars got really close to it, it just stayed where it was, and hunched it's back.

They only live at the Grand Canyon, and I've been there once.

Great, my Dad saw one on the way to Bishop last time.
They are cool birds.
