Winter plumage is dark brown back white underside, neck and face. Brown patch on cheek and crown.

No, I went to the SF Botanical garden yesterday and after spending half the day here getting this duck and some loons I went to look for the Roadrunner in Livermore. Guess will have to wait til someone spots it again. Did you get a yellow shafted or red?

I went to the park today afternoon.Saw a belted kingfisher and Flicker. Did not see Eastern phoebe.
