This long dead caterpillar was slowly being decomposed by some kind of fungus. In the picture is possible to see how the fungus's action liquifies the caterpillar, for to absorb its nutrients.

Ashish, I can't know if the fungus attacked before or after the caterpillar died. I think it would make a great difference in the ID.
