Notes:

At the moment, there is only 1 specie under the genus Epidares. However, there are some differences between the species seen in different locations in Sarawak, previously taken as variations among the specie. However, those variations have been distinctive to the particular location giving rise to possibility of them being different or sub-species. DNA analysis in the future might be able to provide more clues to them. This spotting are from Bako National Park, whereby the Males have Y-spines. Another spotting posted separately from Kubah National Park, with the Males having green color on their back.
