Stink Bug

Description:

This is a True Bug, Suborder Heteroptera--that much I know. The Pacific Northwest harbors a large variety of species in this order. I have posted it on BugGuide.net (http://bugguide.net/node/view/649485) so that it may be identified further. I think it is in Superfamily Pentatomoidea due to its pentamerous antennae.

Update - An entomologist at BugGuide believes this is a species of Podisus. All of BugGuide's posted Washington Podisus are P. brevispinus. Hence, my species guess.
