Description:

A very pretty medium sized mushroom with flat, dished cap usually crimson and very much darker at the centre. Stipe is thick, clean white and wider towards the base, gills are a warm yellow-cream colour, often exposed at the margin and sometimes toothy. Up to 120mm across and 120mm tall.

Habitat:

Open eucalyptus forest with grass.
