Description:

This is a large saffron coloured hairy moth. Quite a lazy one! Wing length: 42 mm.

Habitat:

Mixed forests mainly of pines, cherry and bamboo. Cool to warm place. Altitude: 1,700 m.

Notes:

This moth was spotted wrapped around a small Peepul tree in our terrace garden.

Thanks Marta. Doesn't seems to be common here, this's the only 3rd one I've spotted at my place in the last 7-8months. First one, a green one, I've posted earlier.
