Anaxyrus americanus
American toad has the typical toadlike warty skin and bony head crests. The dark blotches on the back usually contain one or two warts, and the underside is white with dark spots. Most individuals are brown above, but more colorful (mottled black, white and red) individuals occur in the Hudson Bay Lowlands.
