Description:

Giant Redcedar. Size 150-200 feet tall. Leaves scalelike, overlapping, dark yellow-green, in drooping fernlike sprays; cones light brown, with opposing leathery scales.

Habitat:

Moist flats and slopes, riverbanks, bogs and swamps. Only in the Northwest.
