Description:

A beautiful and reasonably common duck. The male has a bright white crescent stripes on both sides of it's head just behind the bill. Females are mottled brown. Both sexes have sky blue wing coverts seen when in flight.

Habitat:

Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FL.
