Description:

12 to 14 inch long small crocodilian juveniles. All individuals are very camouflaged with black scaly exterior skin with light yellow banding.

Habitat:

Everglades swamp area in a hammock area with a small nest area.

Notes:

While biking along a "dike" area on the edge of the Everglades I spotted this bed of very young alligators.
