Description:

Purple to pink, multiple bell shaped flowers on stalks from 3-5ft with one large flower at top. Plant is a source for digitalis prescribed by doctors to strengthen the heart and regulate its beat

Habitat:

open areas of forests with organic soil.

Notes:

Spotted in Washington State University's experimental/demostration forest.
