Description:

This is the female yellow form. Adults are large butterflies with a wing span: of 2 1/4 - 3 3/8 inches (5.7 - 8.6 cm).

Habitat:

Spotted visiting buttonbush along a lake edge.

Notes:

The larvae feed on fresh leaves of Pithecellobium and Inga species.
