Striped Lady Beetle

Micraspis frenata

Description:

Tiny orange and black lady beetle, also known as Ladybirds or Ladybird beetles. Grows to around 4mm. Swirled black marking on each side and centre black stripe.

Habitat:

Found in tall grasses, in gardens feeding on pollen and nectar, prefers most areas except very arid regions.
