Ring-billed Gull

Larus delawarensis

Description:

Small gull that get it's name from the dark ring around it's short yellow bill. wings and back is medium grey. Wing tips are black showing white spots when folded. Legs are yellow and so are the eyes with red eyering. Takes 3 years to reach adult plumage.

Habitat:

Spotted along the bay trail
