Description:

Clumps of small ( about 10 mm long) collapsed green trumpets with frilly free margins housing thick brown spore bearing apothecia. These little trumpets were growing out of a granular blue-green crust.

Habitat:

Seen growing in mats on damp base of a huge eucalypt - sclerophyll forest -Dandenong Ranges.

Notes:

Hoping to identify this with a little more research.
