They grow anywhere that has limited frosts. But they will only set fruit in tropical regions.

Huh - that's neat, I wouldn't have realized bananas would grow in New Orleans. I thought it had to be even further south. :)

I'm fairly certain those are bananas. Which are herbs, not palms.
